Garden Application Guidelines

Pop-Up Starter: Can be applied directly in the row on the seed, or put over the row at planting, at a rate of 1-5 gallons per acre. Thin down with water at a ratio of 1 part Huma-Tec to 10 parts water.

Foliar: Can be applied to the leaves of plants. Thin down 20 to 1 with water, then wet the leaves. Can be done weekly, if desired. Per acre application rate is 1-2 quarts per acre.

Compost Piles: Mix 1 part Huma-Tec to 20 parts water. Use this water to keep your compost pile damp.

Soil applications: For an initial application, dilute 6 ounces of Huma-Tec per 1,000 sq. feet (a 20' x 50' area), into at least a gallon of water.

Further applications may be done each year in the early spring and fall. Dilute 3 ounces of Huma-Tec per 1,000 sq. feet into at least a half gallon of water.

For Best Results: foliar apply to plant in early stages of growth, then when the plant is about to set fruit. Foliar applications are most effective in the mornings and evenings when temperatures are below 80 degrees.
