Foliar
application
Mix
Ocean Trace with water as follows:
Weekly: 2
tsp. per gallon of water
Bi-Weekly:
4 tsp. per gallon of water
Monthly: 1
ounce per gallon of water
Wet the leaves of the plant. A few plants, such as
blueberries, tomatoes, and many flowers, do less with a little less Ocean
Trace. You can mix it at 1/2 the above recommended strength.
For larger areas, mix
Ocean Trace with at least 10 gallons of water per acre (preferably 20 gallons
or more of water per acre), add in 1/4 to 1/2 gallon per acre of Ocean Trace,
and spray over crops . You may apply up to 1 gallon of Ocean Trace per year.
Ocean Trace is compatible with many other spray solutions, but is NOT
compatible with most Phosphorus fertilizers. Mix Ocean Trace into the tank of
water first, then add other nutrients. Always jar test when applying along
with chemical fertilizers.
Do not apply Ocean Trace
if the plant does not have sufficient round moisture (i.e., times of drought).
The plant must have some moisture to utilize the Ocean Trace.
Drip lines and irrigation
Ocean Trace can also be applied through drip lines or through the sprinkler at
the rate of one to four gallons per season.
Compost
Piles: Mix 1 ounce of Ocean Trace per gallon of water. For
best results, add in 6 ounces of Huma-Tec per gallon of water as well.
Use this water to keep your compost pile damp.
Fall Soil
Application:
In the fall or early winter,
add 1 to 2 gal. per acre of
Huma-Tec
and 1/2 to 1 gal./acre of
Ocean Trace to
at least 10 gallons of water per acre (preferably 20 gallons of water per
acre) and spray on the ground.
