How much would it help if you could find a way to return your soil to a near virgin condition? It would mean much higher yields, not to mention a drastic reduction in disease. This is what we are helping peanut farmers to accomplish. AG USA has a number of products which work together to bring your fields back into top production.
Ø First, to help to clean the soil of plant toxins, salts, and petroleum byproducts, we recommend that you broadcast 1 gallon of BF-888 Soil Biological ($30/acre) the first time across your field in the spring. BF-888 is composed of 64 different beneficial bacteria cultures plus enzymes. Coupled together with important nutrients, it has proven it’s merit in revitalizing soils rapidly, safely, and economically. BF-888 heals diseased soils, breaks down salts, takes out fungus and mold, and frees up nutrients. In sick soils, your fertilizers get tied up. We get these moving again.
Not only can BF-888 increase your production, it can help with your nematode problems. Nematicides are not only DANGEROUS to handle, but they are dangerous to your soil. They kill everything in their path, including much needed microbes living in your soil. As you try so hard to protect the life of your plants, every time you use a nematicide you strike a death blow to our soil.
One problem you have to deal with is that parasitic nematodes (the bad guys) hatch in 7 days, beneficial nematodes hatch in 21 days. When you apply a nematicide, a fresh batch of bad nematodes hatch in just 7 days. This multiply for 14 days before good nematodes have a chance to hatch. The bad nematodes have free reign in your soil for 14 days. So you get rid of the problem for a few days, but it comes back worse than before. The worst thing about this catch-22 situation is that nematicides are a killer. They kill EVERYTHING in the soil. The good flora in the soil doesn’t stand a chance.
May we propose BF-888 to solve this problem? BF-888 is not a nematicide. It doesn’t kill nematodes. No. We do eat their eggs! But studies suggest that parasitic nematodes thrive in sick, salty soil. We go in and clean up the soil, making it less friendly for parasitic nematodes. When you broadcast 1 gallon of BF-888 your first trip across the field in the spring, don’t be surprised if it completely eliminates your need for nematicides. That’s what it is doing for others.
Not only is our BF-888 effective at controlling Rizotonium, (white mold), which affects the stem and crown, but it will also help to control fungus that attacks the leaf. Once you use BF-888, you will wonder how you lived without it!
Ø Second, we encourage you to put ½ to 1 gal. of HA Plus in the row on the seed at planting. For only $7.50 to $15 an acre, it will get your peanuts up and going quickly. It is a rich source of Carbon, and can help your peanuts really get going!
Ø Third, at bloom time, broadcast 3 gallons of 10% Calcium Plus per acre ($16.50/acre). Calcium is said to be the “King of crop nutrients”, and your peanuts NEEDS a good source of calcium. Calcium is involved in many metabolic and physiological functions. Available calcium is also the referee, mediator and transporter of minerals in the soil. Without available calcium, none of the other minerals can work at the efficiency needed for optimum plant production. Until recently, Dolomite or Gypsum have been about our only choices for calcium. But they offer only a small percentage of available calcium to the plant. Tech-Ag’s 10% Calcium Plus is 100% soluble, and 100% available to the plant. It is approximately 300 times more available than gypsum or ag lime. It will do wonderful things for your peanuts.
Ø Fourth, Carbon Plus ($.50/ounce) is the best kept secret in growing peanuts. Not only is it chalked full of organic nutrients, with 70 trace elements, it is also a wonderful source of carbon. Peanuts love carbon, and our customers are seeing some nice increases in yields. You might start by adding 8 ounces of Carbon Plus to your pop-up fertilizer. Then come back and foliar feed with 4 ounces of Carbon Plus every time you go across the field.
Ø Fifth, add in 1/20th gallon of Ocean Trace™ ($2.70) every time you go across the field. Peanuts really respond to being spoon fed with the micro nutrients in our Ocean Trace™.
Ø Last, we recommend that after harvest you broadcast 1 gal. of HA Plus. At only $15/gal. per acre here is what HA Plus can do for you. It buffers the soil, takes out compaction, frees up nutrients, helps crops develop a better root system, and much, much more.
For one thing, HA Plus is an incredible germinator. We had one farmer tell us that it germinated every weed seed in his field. Then with winter freezes, they all died. The next spring, his field was weed free!
Our BF-888 and HA Plus help to rebuild the organic matter and humus in your soil, and according to studies done by the University of Nebraska, 10% of all organic matter is nitrogen!
